NTHC Hallowe’en!
“Visit our spooky train carriages if you dare!” say event organisers at the Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre (NTHC).
This Hallowe’en event runs from 12-noon to 4pm on Saturday 28th October & Sunday 29th October. It’ll cost a fiver for children. Please note: Grown-ups must be accompanied by a child because this is a kids’ event!
Keep updated with this NTHC Hallowe’en event which should be on the Facebook page >>HERE<<.
Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre is one of Ruddington’s main visitor attractions. It’s a great place for a family day out with miniature railways, vintage buses, model railways and a cafe. These other NTHC attractions are expected to be open as usual…
Weather and volunteers permitting, The Nottingham Society Of Model And Experimental Engineers Ltd will be open operating their excellent miniature railway and for a small fee you too can enjoy the ride!
NABS – Nottingham Area Bus Society Will be open 10am till 4pm all weekend for external viewing however, if you wish to get up close to the buses please ask a member of staff who will be only too pleased to give you a guided tour of the collection.
Ruddington Model Railway Club are open between 11am and 4pm all weekend so why not visit and view their models of the local area’s railway.
Also there’s The Heritage Cafe serving hot meals, snacks and drinks. It’s usually open at the weekends from 10am to 4pm (and also on Wednesdays).
Car parking is available on site but NTCH says “we do kindly request a voluntary donation of £2.00 per vehicle is made please.”
Please note: You are advised to check NTCH events for details and cafe opening times, as activities may be subject to change (for example due to volunteers and/or the weather). Email nthcevents@gmail.com and it has a Facebook page.
